Alleykate’s Web Designs is located in Hobart Tasmania. Started by me as a part-time business, I wanted to help those in not a great financial position. This includes starter businesses or community and volunteer organisations to get up and going with a web presence.
Here at Alleykate’s Web Designs I want to help you find the best solutions for your website. I have helped all ranges of websites from the small community volunteer organisations to helping those starting their online shop fronts and businesses. Some of the help includes some training too.
I want to work with you to make the most user friendly but current website that works on all devices. My designs are done with you and your audience/users in mind. Your website should consider the age and needs of your users. I am also happy to provide suggestions to make things work. I have experience in WordPress, Weebly, Shopify and Square to name a few.
How long does it take to make a website?
The length of time it takes to build a website can vary from just a couple of weeks for a landing page or one page site to several months larger websties. This depends upon the complexity and scale of the project. For most small/medium-sized businesses and organisations, website development can take around 12 to 16 weeks. This will allow time with time planning, design, development, feedback/revisions and testing.
To save time is best to get your research done before you start. This includes what you might want, your logo and preferred colours. It is also a good idea to start planning the words you also want on the website.
